Check The Steering Column Lock

• Ignition switch position II. Check that the steering column lock unlocks.
• Remove the key from the ignition switch.
• Open the driver's door. The steering column lock must be locked. It must be impossible to turn the steering wheel.
• Ignition switch position II. The steering column lock must be unlocked. It must be possible to turn the steering wheel.

• Continue 

  Refer to CHECKING THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) 

• Replace the Steering Column Lock Module (SCL).
