Spare Part Marking (R-Dot): Notes

Some of the spare parts are selected to be marked with R-dot, which is an anti-theft marking that is only applicable in the USA.

The following components are R-dot marked:

• front and rear bumper cover
• all side doors
• bonnet
• tailgate
• left and right fender
• left and right fender (full side)
• engine (sump)
• the gearbox

Note that in certain cases the components may be punched or scribed.
