Checking the Function Of the Electric Auxiliary Pump

Remove the engine guard.
- LHD car, see 2 in Fig 1.
- RHD car, see 1 in Fig 1.
Move the insulation aside and detach the vacuum hose of the pump from the T-valve.
- LHD car, see 2 in Fig 1.
- RHD car, see 1 in Fig 1.
NOTE: First check the function of the T-valve. See Checking the T-valve
Ignition on: Listen to the electric auxiliary pump. Is it activated and does it run for a few seconds?
