Ignition off.

Remove:

the battery. See: BATTERY AND MOUNTING - REMOVAL, REPLACEMENT AND INSTALLATION (544 BODY)
the 3 screws
the battery box.

Remove the windshield wiper motor. See: WIPER MECHANISM, WINDSHIELD
