Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00BC is stored if the SRS control module identifies an incorrect side impact sensor identity.

Possible Source 

• Incorrect side impact sensor identity.
• Incorrect side impact sensor.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
