from the connector for the inflatable curtain.WARNING:
Under no circumstances use an ohmmeter or other live measuring instruments to take readings on a disconnected non-deployed pyrotechnical inflatable curtain. This could deploy the inflatable curtain
CAUTION:Do not touch the terminal pins in the SRS control module. There is a risk of static discharge. This could damage the SRS control module.
Check the cable between Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) terminals #13A(13) and #14A(14) and connector terminals #1 and #3 on the rear left-hand inflatable curtain. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Connect special tool see 9511506 to the connector for the rear left-hand inflatable curtain.
Check the cable between the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) terminals #13A(13) and #14A(14) for resistance between these terminals. The resistance between the terminals should be infinite.
Remedy as necessary.

- With the ignition off and the connectors for the rear left-hand inflatable curtain and for the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) disconnected, the resistance between the rear inflatable curtain connector terminals #1 and #3 (Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) side) and ground should be infinite
