Checking Components And Wiring
- Ignition off
- Disconnect special tool

from the connector for seat belt tensioner.WARNING:
Under no circumstances use an ohmmeter or other live measuring instrument to take readings on a disconnected, non-deployed, pyrotechnical seat belt tensioner. This could deploy the seat belt tensioner
CAUTION:Do not touch the terminal pins in the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS). There is a risk of static discharge. This could damage the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS).
Check the female and male parts of the connectors for the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) and the seat belt tensioner. The cable terminals must not be damaged, pressed back or oxidized.
Check the cable between the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) terminal #12A(12), terminal #11A(11) and connector terminal #1, terminal #3 on the left seat belt tensioner on the 3rd seat row. Check for an open-circuit.
Remedy as necessary.
