Checking The Lock Function Of The Fuel Tank Filler Cover: Check

Check that the lock is not sticking or jammed. Check that the lock unit is correctly installed.

Check that the locks for the rear doors are not disabled.

1. The fuel tank filler cover plate lock was sticking or had jammed. The lock unit was not correctly installed. Troubleshooting has been completed.
2. The locks for the rear doors are disabled. Refer to CHECKING FUSES .
3. No fault detected. Refer to REPLACING THE COMPONENT
