Checking Relay And Wires
NOTE:
Trouble-shooting is only relevant to vehicles equipped with an extra lamp. The relay to the extra lamp is part of the cable to the extra lamp. The extra lamp is connected to connector 54/8.
Check relay (2/64).
HINT: The voltage on coil supply 2 should be 12 V.
HINT: The voltage on the relay contacts should be 12 V on pin 4. With the extra lamp switched on the voltage should also be 12 V on 3.
Check the wire between relay contact 4 and fuse 10 in the engine compartment fuse box (11B/10).
Check that the fuse is intact.
Check the wire between relay contact 3 (2/64) and front extra lamp 1 (10/69 front left extra lamp and 10/65 front right extra lamp respectively).
HINT: Ground connection to extra lamp at 2.
Check the connector.
