Checking The Wires

Check and measure the wire between combined instrument 4 and engine control module connector B 46 for an open circuit as described in, see SHORT-CIRCUIT TO GROUND, PERMANENT FAULTS , and a short circuit to voltage supply as described in SHORT-CIRCUIT TO SUPPLY VOLTAGE. PERMANENT FAULTS .

Is there a fault? 

• YES 

  Refer to VERIFICATION 

• NO 

  FAULT NOT FOUND:  Troubleshooting has been completed.
