• Ignition switch position II.
• Read off the cause of the alarm using the VCT2000 (or appropriate scan tool).

If the cause for any false alarm has been "communication lost", it depends on a software problem in Central electronic module (CEM).

• Solve by loading new software to the Central Electronic Module (CEM).
