If the generator (GEN) is not correctly installed it can result in noise from the generator (GEN) and auxiliaries belt.

Loose generator (GEN) bearings can cause noise in the generator (GEN).

Possible Source 

• The generator (GEN) is not correctly installed
• Defective bearings.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Noise from the generator (GEN)
• Noise from the belt transmission.
