Checking Tank Gauge: Fault-Tracing

NOTE:

This symptom troubleshooting only applies to vehicles with a structure week from 200425.

If the customer has problems with the tank gauge intermittently showing zero in the driver information module (DIM) at the same time as any of the diagnostic trouble codes CEM-4A31, CEM-4A35, or DIM-0001 is stored intermittently, the problem may be defective software in the Central electronic module (CEM).

Download new software to the Central electronic module (CEM).
