Quick Test Of The Tire Pressure Sensor
HINT: The base of the air valve is aluminum colored if the rims are intended for tire pressure sensors.
Each tire pressure sensor has its own ID number which is transmitted to and stored in the upper electronic module (UEM). Read off the last stored ID number by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol. The last stored ID number is displayed until a new ID number is received and stored.

Repeat this procedure for each wheel. Different ID numbers must be displayed.
HINT: If a sensor does not respond during the test this indicates that the rim does not have a sensor installed, the sensor may be damaged or may be a sensor intended for another make or model.
