Seat Belt TENSIONER

Disconnect the battery ground cable. See BATTERY DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

Information about handling and storing pyrotechnical SRS-components. See HANDLING NON-DEPLOYED PYROTECHNICAL PART .

WARNING:

Do not use test equipment on the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) electrical connectors.

WARNING:

A pyrotechnical SRS component must never be unscrewed, repaired or moved to another vehicle.

Remove the following items: 

Remove the electrical connector. See IGNITER WIRE CONNECTOR .

Torque:  Seat belt tensioner lap to seat

40 Nm

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Carry out an inspection of the impact protection system. See SUPPLEMENTARY RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS), INSPECTION
