Before replacing the Driver information module, programmed data must be read out from the Driver information module. This is done in VIDA (Volvo scan tool). After replacement, the data in question must be programmed in the new Driver information module.

Wait at least three minutes before unplugging the connectors or removing other electrical equipment.

Download new software for the Driver information module according to the service information in VIDA (Volvo scan tool). After downloading, data read-out must be programmed. The clock must also be set.
