Testing the alarm sensor in the hood 

• Remain seated in the car.
• Activate the alarm by locking the vehicle using the remote control.
• Wait 15 seconds.
• Open the hood. A siren sounds and all hazard warning lights flash.
• Deactivate the alarm by unlocking the vehicle using the remote control.
• Close the hood.
