Collision Protection Unit From Behind Front Seat: Installation

NOTE:

For tightening torques, see: TIGHTENING TORQUE .

INSTALLING THE WHIPLASH UNIT ON NON-FOLDING SEATS

Install a new  whiplash element.

Install:

Install:

Slide the entire whiplash unit up towards the backrest frame.

Hook on the spring using see 9512943 .

Reinstall the upholstery.

Install: 



NOTE:

For tightening torques, see: TIGHTENING TORQUE .

INSTALLING THE WHIPLASH UNIT ON FOLDING SEATS

Install a new  whiplash element.

Install:

Install:

Slide the entire whiplash unit up towards the backrest frame.

Hook on the spring using see 9512943 .

Reinstall the upholstery.

Install: 



NOTE:

For tightening torques, see: TIGHTENING TORQUE .

Install in the reverse order.
