Checking The Cable
HINT: The fault could also have been caused by the windshield wipers sticking.
Check the cable between central electronic module (CEM) terminal #16B and motor (6/1) terminal #3. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage. See SHORT-CIRCUIT TO SUPPLY VOLTAGE. PERMANENT FAULTS . Check for an open-circuit. See OPEN-CIRCUIT, PERMANENT FAULTS .
Check the connector.
If no other faults are found try a new windshield wiper motor (6/1).
Remedy as necessary.
