Checking Components And Wiring: Notes
Check that shunt 20/29 is not damaged. The resistance between the terminal pins is 0 ohm to 5 ohms depending on which pin the reading is taken at.
Check the cable between relay 2/83 terminal #3 and the left and right lower lamp housing connector terminal #3A. Check for an open-circuit according to OPEN-CIRCUIT, PERMANENT FAULTS . Check for a short-circuit to ground according to SHORT-CIRCUIT TO GROUND, PERMANENT FAULTS .
Check the cable between the left and right upper lamp housing connector terminal #4A and the ground terminal for an open-circuit according to OPEN-CIRCUIT, PERMANENT FAULTS .
Check that fuse 11D/2 is intact.
Remedy as necessary.
