Checking The Fuel Pump (FP)

• Ignition on.

  Activate the fuel pump (FP): Click on the VCT 2000 symbol.

  WARNING: Great care must be taken when activating the fuel pump (FP). If fuel is filled for an excessive amount of time, smoke may be generated or the heater may be damaged.

  Check that the fuel pump (FP) is working. The heater cannot be started if the pump is not working. The basic problem is then in the fuel system / fuel pump (FP).

Is the fuel pump (FP) working? 

• YES 

  Refer to CHECKING THE START PARAMETERS 

• NO 

  Perform additional troubleshooting.
