Circuit Test

The fault is caused by an open-circuit in the cable to (or in) the lock unit. To determine in which circuit the fault is:

Remove the deadlock relay (2/115).

Remove the lock unit connector. Check the connector for contact resistance and oxidation.

Was a fault detected? 



The fault indicates an open-circuit in the common relay circuit (relay 2/115 or the power supply to the relay).

Begin by replacing the relay for deadlocking (2/115) in the integrated relay/fusebox in the cargo compartment. Check the relay base switches. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
