Fault-Tracing Information

If the customer has problems with not being able to open the tailgate, it may be due to activated private lock position.

Private lock position is activated by turning the key blade 180 degrees clockwise in the lock on the glove box.

HINT: A trapped signal line from the glove box has shown to be able to activate private lock position. 

Before continuing to troubleshoot the tailgate, it should be checked that private lock position is deactivated.
