Removing The Side Piece

Remove the cover and the two screws.
Remove the central head restraint according to CENTER HEAD RESTRAINT .
Fold down the outer head restraint.
Release the strap guide.
Slide the side piece backwards whilst sliding the legs of the head restraint through the slit in the side piece.

NOTE:

Check that the release strap for the head restraint does not catch.
