Checking The Power Supply And Ground For The Front Power Seat Module (PSM)
Check fuse F3 and fuse F18 in fuse box engine compartment for Central electronic module (CEM). Check the subsequent cables between fuse box engine compartment fuse box and Central electronic module (CEM) for open-circuit. If any of the fuses are blown, also check for a short-circuit to ground.
Check the fuses for the relevant front seat on the central electronic module (CEM). Also check the fuse for the relay for interior lighting and front seats on the central electronic module (CEM).
Check the cables for voltage between the Central electronic module (CEM) and relevant front seat. Check for a short circuit to ground. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage. Check for an open-circuit.
Check the connector on power seat module (PSM). Check for contact resistance, and damage.
Remedy as necessary.
