Checking Component And Wiring

Check the voltage on the courtesy lighting connector terminal #12 to the output on the central electronic module (CEM). The voltage must be approximately 0 V when the courtesy lighting is activated.

Check control signal cable for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Take readings between:

• Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #D3 (#3) and roof lamp connector terminal #12.

Remedy as necessary.
