Checking Component And Wiring

Check the voltage on the left-hand headlamp connector terminal #1 to the output on the central electronic module (CEM). The voltage must be approximately 12 V when the left-hand turn signal lamp is activated.

Check the control signal cable. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Take readings between:

• Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #E38 (#38) and left-hand headlamp connector terminal #1.

Check the voltage on the rear right-hand lamp housing connector terminal #3 to the output on the central electronic module (CEM). The voltage must be approximately 12 V when the left-hand turn signal lamp is activated.

Check the control signal cable. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Take readings between:

• Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #C9 (#9) and rear left-hand lamp housing connector terminal #3.

Remedy as necessary.
