Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-8F31 (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007)

Condition

The central electronic module (CEM) checks the headlamp washer motor.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers that the signal in the driver circuit for the headlamp washer motor relay is too high.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to supply voltage.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The washer motor cannot be switched off.
