Ignition off.
Check that relay 2/182 is correctly installed.

Also check the relay terminal, in particular 2/182 terminal #2. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

It is not possible to deactivate headlamp wash / wipe if there is a short-circuit to ground in terminal 2/182#2.

HINT: The fault may have been caused by an open-circuit in the supply to the relay. The voltage must be 12 V at both terminals #1 and #5 for the relay. Also check the fuse for the tailgate wiper.

Remedy as necessary.
