Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-8D03 (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008)

Condition

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers that the signal to the high level stop lamp is too high.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in key positions I, II with the stop lamp activated.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to battery voltage in the signal cable to the high level stop lamp.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The stop lamp lights constantly.
