Checking Component And Wiring

Check the voltage on the right-hand headlamp connector terminal #7 to the output on the central electronic module (CEM). The voltage must be approximately 12 V when the low beam is activated.

Check the control signal cable. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Take readings between:

• Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #G2 (#2) and left-hand headlamp connector terminal #7.

Check the voltage on the rear left-hand lamp housing connector terminal #2 to the output on the central electronic module (CEM). The voltage must be approximately 12 V when the low beam is activated.

Check the control signal cable. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Take readings between:

• Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #C14 (#14) and rear left-hand lamp housing connector terminal #2.

Remedy as necessary.
