Checking Status

Activate the parking lamp.

Check if the fault is permanent or intermittent.

The parking lamp must light on activation.

The fault is permanent if the parking lamp does not activate.

If the parking lamp is activated, this is an indication that the fault was present previously but that it is not active at the moment, i. e. the fault is intermittent.

The fault-tracing only applies to group 1 parking lamps. Group 1 parking lamps consist of:

• Front left-hand parking lamps
• Rear right parking lamp
• License plate lighting.
