Checking Component

Check that the left-hand gas discharge lamp module (GDL) has not been installed on the right-hand side.

If a new gas discharge lamp module (GDL) has been installed, the vehicle information must be programmed and the position sensor must be calibrated.

To program the gas discharge lamp module (GDL) with vehicle parameters and to calibrate the position sensor, see CALIBRATION OF POSITION SENSOR, GDL LAMPS .

Remedy as necessary.
