Central electronic module (CEM) checks status of power supply to light-emitting diode for side adjustment of headlights on Light switch module (LSM). The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers that the signal is too low or that there is no signal.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I or II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Light-emitting diode on Light switch module (LSM) short-circuited to ground or open circuit.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Instrument lighting/Dimmer does not work
• Instrument- /button lighting/Does not work
