Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-6F86

Condition 

The central electronic module (CEM) controls the power supply to the lock motor for the fuel tank filler cap via a directly connected cable. The control module activates the engine if the switch for opening the fuel tank filler cap on the light switch unit is pressed. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers a short-circuit to ground in the power supply cable for the lock motor at the fuel tank filler cap.
