Checking Component And Wiring

Check the voltage on the light switch module (LSM) connector terminal #12 to the output on the central electronic module (CEM). The voltage must be approximately 12 V when the instrument lighting is activated.

Check the control signal cable. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Take readings between:

• Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #A1 (#1) and light switch module (LSM) connector terminal #12.

Remedy as necessary.
