Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-6F85

Condition

The central electronic module (CEM) checks the luminance of the instrument lighting via an output.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers a short-circuit to ground in the output for the instrument lighting.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed at key positions I and II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to battery voltage in the signal cable to the instrument lighting / fuel tank filler cap.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The instrument lighting does not operate.
