Function Test

• Activate the smart tool for reading off the status of the tailgate switch for opening the tailgate
• Press the switch for opening the tailgate. Check that the status changes

  The switch status must be "Activated" when the switch is pressed in and "Not activated" when the button is not pressed in.

  HINT: If the switch status is activated when the switch is not pressed in, the fault is either in the switch or in the cable from the switch to the central electronic module (CEM).
