Condition

The central electronic module (CEM) communicates with the sun roof module (SRM).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers a short-circuit to battery voltage in the speed signal circuit for the sun roof.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition switch positions I and II when the sunroof button is active.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to battery voltage in the signal cable.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Automatic sun roof closure does not function.
