HINT: The diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are included in a larger fault-tracing for the symptom Starter motor not running. 

The steering column lock is checked by the steering column lock module (SCL). The central electronic module (CEM) continuously checks the status of the steering column lock through messages from the steering column lock module (SCL).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) receives messages from the steering column lock module (SCL) in the wrong order.

• None.

Possible Source 

• Internal fault in the steering column lock module (SCL).

Fault symptom[s] 

• Steering column lock not locked/not unlocked
• The starter motor does not turn
