Faulty Signal: Information
HINT: This fault can appear intermittent for vehicles manufactured up to and including week 20, 2004.
HINT: Remedy the fault by loading new software into the Central Electronic Module (CEM).
The central electronic module (CEM) has tried to check the key in the ignition switch. The key has given an incorrect response.
When checking the key, ensure that only that key is in the proximity of the ignition.
If the key definitely belongs to this car, the key is probably defective. A new key and software must be ordered.
If a new key and software does not help this means that the Start Control Unit (SCU) is faulty and requires replacing.
Remedy as necessary.
