The switch for reduced alarm is used to temporarily disconnect certain sensors in the alarm system. The switch is connected directly to the central electronic module (CEM). The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the switch has been activated an abnormally long time (more than 2 minutes).

• None.

Possible Source 

• The switch for reduced alarm has stuck in the activated position
• The button has been held down for more than two minutes.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Temporary disengagement of the detectors is not possible.
