Check The Internal Battery In The Siren Control Module (SCM)

If the internal battery in the Siren control module (SCM) has too low voltage after, e. g., the vehicle, has been stationary for a long time or after the control module has been replaced, this may make it impossible to erase the trouble code.

Carry out the following:

Check the vehicle's battery is charged correctly. Charge the battery if necessary.

Close all vehicle doors.

Lock the vehicle using the remote control.

Unlock the vehicle using the remote control.

Erase the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) and read out again.

Remedy as necessary.
