Remove: 

• the wheel
• the spring

  See: SPRING (AW50/51 AWD; M66 AWD; 2005-2010) or SPRING (B5254T7, AW55-50/51SN; 2011)

• the 2 nuts. Use a Torx wrench as a counterhold so that the boot is not damaged
• the ball joints.
