Ignition off
Install the memory cassette
Connect Volvo Scan Tool (ST) 9988686 with adapter box 9511457 and wiring 9511460 or 9511458 to the data link connector (DLC) which is positioned on the left-hand side of the center console.
Ignition on
Power up the Volvo Scan Tool (ST)
Select language, car and group of functions
Select system
Select the activity (readout, erase diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), activate components etc.).
