Removing The Hood Components

Remove the insulation panel (press pins)
Remove the washers and hoses (depress the retaining clips)
Remove the tensioner straps, 2 for the headlamp and 1 for the entire width
Remove the radiator grille. See Replacing the radiator grille .

Installing hood components

NOTE: A new hood must always be rust-proofed.

Install the grille. See Replacing the radiator grille .

Install:

Washers and hoses
The insulation panel
Sealing strips (use new double-sided adhesive tape)
The weatherstrips (2 for the headlamps).

NOTE: When replacing the hood, both ends of the weatherstrip must be shortened by 120 mm.

NOTE: Adjust the windshield washers.
