Hood Components: Installation

NOTE: A new hood must always be rust-proofed.

Install:

the radiator grille according to Radiator grille
the sealing strips on the headlamp (use new double-sided adhesive tape)
the washers and hoses
the soundproofing for the hood
the weatherstrip over the entire width.

NOTE: Chassis no. 820741-: When replacing a short version weatherstrip, it must shortened at both ends by 120 mm.

NOTE: Chassis no. -820741: When replacing the hood (for chassis numbers - 820714), both ends of the weatherstrip must be shortened by 120 mm.

NOTE: Switch off the windshield washers (if possible).
