Installing the tripod on the drive shaft

Tap the tripod into its seating. Use tool 9995519 .

Install the snap ring.

Lubricate the tripod.

NOTE: There must not be any play between the rollers on the tripod or between the tripod and the splines.

Tap the tripod into its seating. Use tool 9995519 .

NOTE: Note the markings.

Install the snap ring.

Lubricate the tripod.
