Removing the drive shaft

Turn the wheel (steering left).

Angle the wheel spindle and remove the drive shaft from the hub and transmission.

CAUTION: Do not damage the seal in the hub.

Temporarily secure the wheel spindle to the spring strut with one of the screws.

Install plug 9995488 in the transmission.

CAUTION: Ensure that no dirt gets into the wheel hub bearing.
