Installing rear bumper

Place tape underneath the tail lamps and on the tow hitch to prevent paintwork damage.

Align the bumper with the car body.

Install: 

• the screw (C). Tighten by hand
• the two nuts (A and B). Tighten by hand.

Tighten the screw (C). Tighten to 50 Nm  . Tighten the nuts (A, B). Tighten to 5 Nm  on the left and right-hand sides.

Install: 

• the bracket (E)
• the screw (C) and the nut (D). Tighten by hand.

Tighten the screw (C). Tighten to 30 Nm  . Tighten the nut (D). Tighten to 25 Nm  .

Cars equipped with a tow hitch 

Install the washer and the flanged screw (C) and the nut (D). Tighten by hand.

Tighten the flanged screw. Tighten to 55 Nm  . Tighten the nut. Tighten to 25 Nm  .

Install the screw (B). Tighten to 25 Nm  .

Connect the connector for the parking lamps on the right and left-hand sides.

Install the screw (A) on the left and right-hand sides.

Install the mudguard on the left and right-hand sides using the three screws.

Install: 

• the panel
• the screw (B)
• the clip (A)
• the rear panel
• the cargo compartment carpet
• the two screws.

Clean the bumper.
